Overview

Many people working in healthcare are now required to drive as part of their working day - not to mention travel to and from work. You may be in a position where you need to drive long distances regularly. Your safety and that of your passengers and other road users is important. As Australia’s population grows, so too do the number of road users. However, the risk of death or serious injury can be reduced.

This module discusses driver safety. It details the basics of driver safety and what you can do every time you drive to reduce your risk of injury or harm - to yourself and others. This module does not go into details of specific state and territory laws and regulations related to drivers. It is however appropriate for all drivers.

This module is aimed at anyone who drives as part of their work duties and is useful for anyone driving recreationally.  It is specifically for those driving cars (C class).
