Overview

Alzheimer’s disease is the most common form of dementia in Australia. This module explores the incidence of Alzheimer’s disease. It goes on to discuss the pathophysiology of the disease and the signs and symptoms that distinguishes it from other forms of dementia. It then explains the typical progression of the disease and the principles of care for a person with the disease.

This module is aimed at anyone providing care to a person with Alzheimer’s disease.

At the end of this module participants will be able to:
